Celebrating Women Who Lead
This is a platform for women whose efforts I endorse: leaders, founders, and changemakers who are rewriting the rules. Here, I lend my voice and platform to amplify their work.

My Commitment
From becoming the first female Managing Director of Mwananchi Communications Limited to reimagining the future of media in Tanzania, I've lived the truth that leadership requires clarity, resilience, and courage.
This section is my way of using this platform to celebrate and endorse women whose work I believe in: founders, advocates, and leaders who are making a tangible difference. More activations will follow as I continue to spotlight the women shaping our future.
"When women gather, hope gathers too."
— Rosalynn Mworia, WLIAfrica Tanzania Seminar

Chief Purpose Officer & Founder, PZG PR
Prudence Zoe Glorious is a Pan-African Tanzanian thinker, strategist, and writer whose work sits at the intersection of purpose and impact. As the founder and Chief Purpose Officer of PZG PR, Tanzania's first eponymous impact communications firm, she has built an organisation that doesn't just tell stories, but shapes narratives that move nations. In 2024, PZG PR was recognised as Tanzania's Best PR Firm and named among the Top 30 PR Firms in Africa, the sole Tanzanian firm on that continental list.
With over 13 years of experience spanning strategic advisory, sustainability, and social impact programming, Prudence has served as an independent consultant and UN advisor, working with organisations including the World Food Programme, UNDP, Aga Khan Foundation, and the International Trade Center. She is also the author of the children's book series Jua na Ua and has published a thought leadership column on digital connectivity in The Citizen every Tuesday.
"Prudence has an incredible professional journey and a pure heart. When MCL and PZG signed our partnership, it was more than a business agreement. It was two women-led organisations choosing to build something meaningful together. She represents the kind of strategic brilliance that Africa needs more of."
— Rosalynn Mworia

The signing moment: Rosalynn and Prudence formalising the MCL–PZG strategic partnership at Mwananchi Communications offices, Dar es Salaam.
What makes Prudence exceptional is not just her professional acumen; it is her belief that communications should serve a higher purpose. PZG PR's tagline, "Purpose Meets Strategy," is not a marketing line; it is a philosophy that runs through every campaign, every advisory engagement, and every partnership she enters. From crafting coffee table books for UNDP and the MasterCard Foundation to advising the Royal Denmark Embassy, her work bridges the gap between institutional ambition and community impact.
I endorse Prudence because she is proof that you can build a world-class firm rooted in African soil, led by African values, and driven by a genuine desire to make the continent better. Her journey from independent consultant to leading Tanzania's most awarded PR firm is a masterclass in what happens when purpose meets strategy, and when a woman refuses to play small.

Women Leadership in Insurance Africa, Tanzania Chapter
I was honoured to serve as the special guest at the WLIAfrica Tanzania seminar themed "Empowered to Lead: Women Shaping the Future." This event brought together women leaders from across the insurance, risk management, and corporate sectors to address the barriers that still hold women back from decision-making roles.
In Tanzania, while women hold 37% of parliamentary seats, they occupy only 28% of senior and middle management roles. Women account for over 50% of entrepreneurs, yet this strength does not always translate into meaningful decision-making power. WLIAfrica Tanzania exists to change that equation.
"When we gather with our allies (I call men our allies, because women get nowhere without men) we strengthen our journey. So when we speak about women's collaboration, always remember the allies among men who have been part of our journey."
— Rosalynn Mworia, addressing the WLIAfrica Tanzania seminar
Mwananchi Communications Limited received the Appreciation Award for its generous support and partnership during the seminar, a recognition of the power of media in amplifying women's voices and leadership stories across the nation.
"You may have ambitions burning inside you, or you may be navigating a difficult season, but nothing is wasted. Every task, setback, and small win is preparing you for where you're meant to be."
— Rosalynn Mworia

Deputy Executive Secretary for Trade and Innovation, National Planning Commission
Dr. Blandina Kilama represents the kind of quiet, formidable leadership that transforms nations from within. As Deputy Executive Secretary for Trade and Innovation at Tanzania's National Planning Commission, she sits at the intersection of economic policy and national strategy, shaping the frameworks that determine how Tanzania grows, trades, and innovates.
Her journey is one of intellectual rigour and public service. With a PhD in Economics, Dr. Kilama spent years at REPOA (Policy Research for Development), one of Tanzania's most respected think tanks, before transitioning into government as an economic adviser to the Ministry of Planning. Her research on structural economic transformation, poverty dynamics, and trade policy has influenced national development strategies at the highest levels.
"Women like Dr. Kilama remind us that leadership is not always about the spotlight. Sometimes the most transformative leaders are the ones quietly building the architecture of a nation's future."
— Rosalynn Mworia
In February 2026, Dr. Kilama's transition from economic adviser to Deputy Executive Secretary was highlighted as an example of how Tanzania is investing in mentoring its next generation of leaders, placing experienced women in positions where their expertise can shape the country's strategic direction. She has also represented Tanzania at the United Nations, presenting on sustainable development and the country's strategic journey toward prosperity.
I endorse Dr. Kilama because she embodies what I believe about leadership: that it requires both the courage to serve and the discipline to study. She is proof that women can lead at the highest levels of government, not by accident, but by preparation and purpose.
